About this tool
This map tracks state housing legislation and estimates how many additional homes each state's zoning reform bills could enable. Estimates are built from the specific provisions of each bill. It helps answer which reforms would add the most homes.

Limits
- Figures are estimates of potential homes, not forecasts of homes that will be built.
- Companion bills in the same state are counted once toward totals.
- Totals include only bills that have an estimate.
- Dead bills are marked as such and are not counted.
